Description: The Club’s roots go back to at least 1995 when the team as known as Paribas FC because of its association with the French bank of that name. With the new millennium came a fresh start and at the beginning of the 2000 season, the Club changed its name to Barbarians. The Barbarians are a truly international side, with players hailing from all over Europe, North America, Africa and Asia. The Club was one of the founder members of the Sunsport Super League and was happy also to be a founder member of the new ESPZEN League when it was launched in May 2004. We were even happier to be the League's first champions clinching the title in a dramatic showdown with arch-rivals Racing on a hot Sunday morning on 9 January 2005. The team has participated in ESPZEN organised matches at the National Stadium, Jalan Besar, and also the Marina Floating Platform. Training is held every Thursday evening at Harry's @ Raffles. Non-players are welcome to join!
