An outing which displayed vast improvements all around, but plenty of missed passes. A solid performance of defence from Ed Hamsah but the team conceeded six. Brilliant closing down of players from Azamuddin Johari but balls were lost easily. Thats how contradicting the game against the team from Brunei High Commision turned out to be in a late kick off last Saturday.Frustrating soft goals conceeded from BHC`s wickedly deflecting shots made us went down 3-1 in the first half only to equalise to make it all square at half time. A much better performance in the 2nd half from JTS where we held the lead throuhout. Marion Mohd Redza deserves mentioning for being the team`s most improved performer. And the Man of the match had to go to Hafiz Ali for his hat-trick which proved to be the crucial factor for the win. BHC`s attack was filled with shots from centre of the pitch and in a very questionable call from the ref, they won a penalty. They scored the penalty but it was too little too late as the taxi-driver-referee blew the final whistle. Moral of the story: Nasi bryani or nasi lemak from the void deck wedding 1 hr before the game is never a good idea.
