Hibs get their first win of the season! The match was similar to all the other games this year, we just ran out winners this time.  We scored the first goal as Julio danced through the Vikings defence to finish with a dink over the keeper. The midfield was playing one-twos and controlling the game and the defence was strong and composed. Raper seemed to be enjoying his was an ultra-wide right role on the touchline under the lights and even added some inspirational chat “be better”. We came into the half time break with a clean sheet and in a winning position. ​ Second half Vikings pulled one back but Bucko finished a good Julio cross into the top corner to take the lead again. Julio scored his second to extend the lead and there were good chances from Boycey (header from a yard out) Ryan and Jack. Vikings scored another to make the last 20mins a bit tense but instead of conceding again, we were much more composed than previous weeks and saw the game out for the win. The comeback is on.

Nice night at Centaurs. Hibs took the 3 points. A lot of defensive errors from Viking side, promptly taken advantage of by a dedicated and solid Hibs team. We will be back next time, hopefully with a bit more edge.  Thanks to Hibs and ref.  Cheers Coach
