This was a match completely littered with errors, as the scoreline suggests.  In fact, it more like a match of errors with some sporadiic football.  Somehow, and very fortunately, we managed to come away with 3 points that we barely deserved,  I one point i thought about giving Hibs the 3 points, but then i remembered some of the errors they made :) On that note, we call it a day for 2018 and hope 2019 starts off briighter.  MOTM: Ethan; Kit Abdul

Hibs had a strong squad with good numbers available, so it looked positive from the start with us looking to get retribution for a poor showing last time out against 1TM. Talbot suggested that we start defensively and compact to get into our stride. The team talk and positivity lasted about 2 minutes though as 1TM managed to capitalise on some loose passing from Hibs to take the lead. You'd have thought that would have woken us up, but it didn't as we stood off the 1TM players and allowed them in for a second. 2-0. At this point Stylesy roused the troops with some inspirational words like "let ****ings ave it, **** ****ing **** ***** ****." Hibs began to press the 1TM defence high up the pitch and force some errors. The first error allowed Charlie to nip in and finish tidily for 1-2, then straight from the restart, NBA style full-court press resulted in a corner which, after a Gilly delivery, Julio managing to grab the equaliser for 2-2. With our tails up we started to move the ball around well and battled for every loose ball, but a few mistakes allowed 1TM back in for them to go 4-2 up. Undeterred, Hibs tried to keep up the intensity, and after a free kick that was well delivered, the clearance bobbled around before Kieran poked in a screamer from 2 yards. 4-3. Another error gave them another one for 5-3 and it was like Rocky vs Apollo Creed exchanging blows but with goals. Hibs pressed and pressed and pressed and managed to get another one back for 5-4 via Roel who managed to injure himself in the process, but tired legs and few wasted chances meant that that's how it finished. Fair play to the 1TM boys for a game played in good spirits, and if it weren't for our gifts and a few missed chances, it might have been different. MoM Jack for a solid shift after a long time out.
