After a delay in selecting the right pitch, Hibs kicked off the new year with a very good squad. We looked excited to be playing football. Vikings also had a strong side out and the game was even. They took the lead with a well-worked goal that sneaked into the corner fo Rohan's goal. Hibs had fair few chances to score, we loved getting to the byline and then cutting it back to no-one to tap it in. We eventually scored when Bolts hit the ball to the side of the keeper rather than straight at him, which what everyone else was doing. The defence was excellent today, probably should have won if we had taken our chances. The New year looks promising
