A win against a well playing Purple Monkeys team. Most of the game this looked like a defeat for the vikings but a couple of quick goals second half changed 1-2 to 3-2.  Purple Monkeys is always a great team to play against - well fighting and tough - but fair and decent.   Defeat snatched from the Jaws of victory.  We had a brilliant first half and although we dropped a bit in the second, we still had a 2-1 lead with 10min to go.  Instead of shutting shop and dropping deep we attacked and held a high line.  2 balls over the top BAM, the Vikings walked away with another Monkey scalp.  MOM goes to debutant Lloyd.   All the best Vikings, pleasure as always.
